Product Description

The combination of Ampillin and Cloxacillin provide a broad-spectrum mode of activity.
Ampicillin possesses antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative
bacteria. Cloxacillin is active against Penicillin G resistant staphylococci. Both beta-
lactam antibiotics bind to membrane bound pro*teins known as penicillin-binding
proteins [PBP's] and are bactericidal.
Indications:
Treatment of clinical bovine mastitis in the lactating cow caused by Gram-positive and
Gram- negative bacteria including: Streptococcal spp., like Streptococcus agalactiae and
Streptococcus dysgalactae, Staphylococcus spp., Area nobacterium pyogenes and E.
coli.
Contra-indications:
Not to be usedin animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients.
