 Neomycin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It has a strong antibacterial effect on most gram-negative bacilli such as Escherichia coli, mutans, Salmonella and Pasteurella multocida. It has a strong antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Also more sensitive.
This product is not effective against Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
This product is only used for topical anti-infective drugs and is rarely absorbed.
