COMPOSITION:
Each 1 ml contains Atropine Sulphate 2mg
APPLICATION/INDICATION
Atropine Sulphate 0.2% injectable solution can be used as spasmolysis
in painful conditions of animals, for decreasing salivation and
bronchial secretion in surgeries under anesthesia and as
pre-aneshetic substance for preventing adverse effects on
increased vagal tonus on heart (together with anaigesic drugs
before the anesthesia particularly in traumatized cats and dogs).
Morever, it can be used as antidote in toxicities of insecticides with
organic phosphor or in the carbamate group as well as morphine
and eserin, pilocarpin, arecholine and chloroform toxicities.
USAGE AND DOSAGE
Unless recommended otherwise by veterinarian; Atropine Sulphate
0.2% injectable Solution is subcutaneously administered for
parasempatolysis. It is administered at following doses including
twice administration in the first day of the treatment and once daily
doses in remaining days.
Animal Species Practical dose
Horse, Cow 1.5-6 ml
Sheep, Goat 0.5-3 ml
Dog 0.03-0.5 ml
Cat 0.01-0.03 ml
If it is used as antidote, it is slowly administered intravenous in
toxicities of organic phosphor or carbamate group insecticides.
Subcutaneous administration is the route in other toxicities.

Cow 5-10 ml/100 kg
Horse 1-2 ml/ 100 kg
Dog 0.1-0.2 ml/ 10 kg
Cat 0.1-0.2 ml/ 10 kg
Dose should be repeated only by monitoring atropinization
symptoms and depending on the regression of toxicity symptoms.
