AD3E INJECTABLE SOLUTION
Composition:
Each ml solution contains:
80,00 I.U.Vitamin A
40,000I.U.Vitamin D3
20mg vitamin E.
Spectrum o activity:
Vitamin A plays an important role in the pretection of the epithelial tissues (including skin an retina) and the mucous memberances, and therefore as a protection against general infections.(deficiency symptoms are hyperkeratosis(skin), xerophthalmia, blindness, nervous symptoms, decreased growth rates and lowered fertility).
Vitamin D3 takes care of the regular process o the calcium-phosphorous metabolism. It plays also a role in increasing the rate o Ca++ absorption and transport from the interestine and so promoting calcification of bone.(Deficiency symptoms are rickets in young animals, osteomalacia in adults).Vitamin E processes antioxidant action, this action links vitamin E with vitamin A metabolism ( it is used for the stabilizing of vitamin A in foodstuffs) and with that of the unsaturated fatty acids.(Deficiency symptoms are muscular disorders e.g. White Muscle Disease, Stiff Lamb Disease).
After injection the vitamins are quickly and completely absorbed and besides a rapid therapeutic effect, this preparation has a lasting prophylactic action due to the high concentration of vitamin A and D3.
Indications:
Treatment and prevention of deficiencies of the vitamin A,D3 and/or E e.g growth disturbances,Non-infectious reproductive-and sight disturbances, enteritis, rachitis (rickets), reconvalescence and skin problems.
Contra-indications:
Over dosage of vitamin D3 may cause hypercalcemia in young animals.
Side-effects:
High doses may result in allergic reaction in dogs.
Dosage and administration:
For intramuscular or subcutaneous administration.
Horse,cow: 10ml per animal.
Calf,foal: 5ml per animal.
Pig: 5-8ml per animal.
Goat,sheep: 4ml per animal.
Piglet: 1-3ml per animal.
Dog: 1-5ml per animal.
Cat: 1-2ml per animal.
