IVERMECTIN BOLUS 10MG
Composition:
Each bolus contains:
10 mg ivermectin.
Therapeutic indications:
This product is brosd-spectrum de-worming medicine, except for the treatment of
hookworm, roundworm, whipworm, pinworm, and other nematode Trichinella spiralis
can be used for the treatment of cysticercosis and echinococcosis. It is indicated for
gastro-intestinal parastic infections from roundworms, hookworms, pinworms,
whipworms, threadworms and tapeworms.
Side-effects:
Normal therapeutic dose will not cause any major visible side- effects in cattle or other
big animals; small animals such as dogs when given the maximum dose may present
anorexia. Cats may present hypersomnia, depression and anorexie.
Dosage:
1. Sheep,goat 0.3mg per kg weight.
2. Cattle, horse, dog, cat and rabbit 0.2mg per kg weight.
Precautions:
1. Long-term continuous use can cause drug resistance and crossed drug resistance.
2. Do not use during pregnancy. Especially for the first 45 days of pregnancy.
Withdrawal period:
cattle 14 days, sheep and goats 4 days, 60 hours after weaning.
Storage:
Store in a cool and dark place,
protect from light.
