IVERMECTIN ORAL SOLUTION
COMPOSITION:
Contains per ml. :
Ivermectin................................... 10 mg.
DESCRIPTION:
Ivermectin belongs to the group of avermectins and acts against roundworms and parasites.
INDICATIONS:
Treatment of gastrointestinal, lice, lung worminfections, oestriasis and scabies.
Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Ostertagia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Chabertia,
Bunostomum and Dictyocaulus spp. for horse,cattle, sheep and goats,and poultry.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For oral administration.
The recommended dose rate is 0.2 mg ivermectin per kg body weight
Horses,cattle,:1ml per 50kg body weight.
Sheep and goat:0.2ml per 10kg body weight.
In sheep and goats ,administration with a dosing gun.
The dosing gun should be calibrated accurately to ensure precise dosing of young sheep and goats.
Poultry:40ml per 200liters of water (1ml or 15birds or 0.25-0.32mg per kg body weight.
Shake well before use.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Administration to lactating animals.
Precautions and warnings:
Dose accurately to prevent development of resistance caused by under dosing.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Hypersensitivity symptoms caused by immunological reactions to dying or dead microfilaria and migrating larvae can occur.
WITHDRAWAL TIMES:
Meat : 35 days. (horses); 14days (sheep,goats,and poultry)
Do not use in animals producing milk for human consumption.
STORAGE:
Store dark and below 25ºC.Do not freeze.
