ALBENDAZOLE ORAL SOLUTION 10%
Composition:
Contains per ml:
Albendazole 100mg.
Description:
ALBENDAZOLE 10% is a broad spectrum
dewormer which belongs to the group of
Benzimidazole-derivatives. It is active
against gastro-intestinal roundworms,
lungworms and tapeworms in cattle,
sheep and goats. ALBENDAZOLE 10% liquid
is also active against eggs of roundworms
and liver flukes(not against immature liver flukes).
Indications:
Prophylactics and treatment of worm
infections in cattle, calves, sheep and
goats like:
Gastro-intestinal worms: Bunostomum,
Cooperia, Chabertia, Haemonchus,
Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum,
Ostertagia, Strongyloides and
Trichostrongylus spp.
Liver-fluke:
Adult Fasciola hepatica.
Lung worms:
Dictyocaulus viviparus and D.filaria.
Tapeworms: Moniezia spp.
Contra-indications:
Administration in the first 45 days of
gestation.
Side-efects:
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Dosage and administration:
For oral administration.
Goats and Sheep:
1ml per 20kg bodyweight.
For liver-fluke:
1ml per 10kg bodyweight.
Calves and cattle:
1ml per 12 kg bpdyweight.
For liver-fluke:
1ml per 10kg bodyweight.
Withdrawal period:
Meat: 12 days
Milk: 4 days
STORAGE:
Store in a dark place, below 30ºC
Keep out of reach of children.
